  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure design and installation, with a focus on storm surge protection or similar projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of storm surge wall projects, from initial planning and design to final installation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review and approve designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Supervise the installation process, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of storm surge walls.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and facility infrastructure during construction and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including design documents, installation records, and maintenance logs.
  • Work closely with other departments and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the planning, design, installation, or maintenance phases.
