Requirements
  • Rising Junior or Senior or Advanced Degree (MS/MA or Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop system architectures and hardware that utilizes chemical reactions for commercial human spaceflight modules. These chemical reactions are utilized areas such as propulsion, thermal systems, and environmental life control systems
  • Build and test prototypes, prepare documentation to support system development
  • Active participation in team brainstorming and technical review meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Axiom Space's business model includes end-to-end space missions, which encompass training, launch, and return, as well as access to the ISS and future Axiom Station. The company is currently building the first commercial space station and a new type of spacesuit in collaboration with NASA and Thales Alenia Space.
