INVENTORY MANAGER
*Full-Time
Position Summary:
The Dispensary Inventory Manager is responsible for supporting retail store sales, inventory operations and compliance guidelines in order to deliver consistent, positive, best-in-class customer experiences and drive inventory accuracy to effect profitable top line sales. This role requires excellent leadership qualities and a knowledge of internal inventory procedures and systems. This position works closely with the Dispensary Manager to ensure effective, efficient operation of the dispensary. The Inventory Manager will report to the Dispensary Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees team of inventory team members within dispensary
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Manages schedules of employees, deliveries, and shipments to optimize operations.
- Communicates with inventory team members to meet business goals and address personnel issues.
- Supports the flow of inventory from receiving to sale.
- Oversees the pick and pack model of our inventory flow in support of the management team.
- Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management.
- Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory team members.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and federal and state laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualification Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Supervisory experience in retail or inventory environment is required
- Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Office 365, including MS applications.
- Able to understand inventory management systems. Preferred knowledge around METRC or LEAF LOGIX.
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills
- Must be focused, pay close attention to detail and accuracy of data recorded
- Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions consistently
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and grow with the company
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations.
- Internal candidates must be in their current role 6 months or more for consideration.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently exposed to an environment of natural chemical fumes, herbal aromas, airborne particles, exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Employee will have moderate exposure to conditions such as dust and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or the skin, depending on department job assignments.
