As the Senior Account you will be essential to furthering our mission by utilizing your expertise to manage and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your contributions will enable us to make informed decisions, optimize budgets, and drive the financial success of our organization.

Kindly note: This position is an in-person role out of our Lakeside campus.

This role will:

• Assist with Accounting operations, which include financial accounting, accounts payable, receivables, month end closing and payroll.
• Assist with internal controls over accounting functions to minimize risk.
• Assist Accounting Manager with financial reports to comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
• Support the payables process to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Support customer invoicing and tracks outstanding receivables, ensuring payments are received according to agreed-upon terms.
• Collaborate with stakeholder to resolve invoicing discrepancies and address payment issues.
• Assist external auditors and provides required statements and information for the annual audit.
• Review budget reports and assist in keeping departments accountable for their expenditures.
• Support payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in keeping workers compensation insurance requirements and regulations up to date including accurate classifications for all employees within our different class codes
• Assists in corporate credit card reconciling, and reporting.
• Oversee invoice management, including verification, approval, and reconciliation processes.
• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Complies with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, preferred but not required.
• Construction and/or Manufacturing Accounting experience, preferred.
• Seven years or more of related experience required.
• Experience using ADP, SAP, QuickBooks, preferred.
• Job Costing experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
