Requirements
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The candidate must be detail-oriented regarding Quality Management System requirements.
  • The candidate must have rudimentary computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • The candidate should have exposure to a fast-paced warehouse environment and be comfortable with short task-completion expectations.
  • The candidate must be able to work with a diversified workforce.
  • The candidate must be able to interact effectively with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee compliance with the policies, procedures, and work instructions contained in the Quality Management System.
  • Exercise disposition of material placed in the Material Review Bay.
  • Provide Plant personnel with training on quality-system documents and record-keeping duties demonstrating compliance with system requirements.
  • Oversee document and data control in the Plant, maintain measurement devices, manage corrective and preventive actions and their follow-ups, oversee Plant quality records, audit processes for procedural compliance, and implement statistical control of equipment and processes.
  • Ensure accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
  • Train personnel on quality-department documents.
  • Ensure proper records are maintained for gauges, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, and related quality records.
Desired Qualifications
  • Quality-system training is preferred but not required.
  • Formal quality training is preferred but not required.
  • ASQ certification.
  • Three years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience.
  • Experience or training in ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards.
