- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team of content and social media professionals
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to adapt the tone and style of writing to various target audiences
- Strategic thinker with the ability to set narrative-driven strategies through stand-out communication across channels
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines
- Ability to analyze data and insights to make informed decisions and drive marketing effectiveness
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the organic social and content marketing teams, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional growth
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with GoGuardian's brand and business objectives
- Create engaging, long-form blog content that resonates with our target audience and establishes GoGuardian as a thought leader in the education technology space
- Define and execute organic social marketing strategies to drive brand affinity, community engagement, and thought leadership
- Design and implement a social media channel strategy for both the parent brand and each product, including product-specific programming by platform
- Collaborate closely with product marketing, demand generation, and communications teams to ensure consistency and alignment across marketing initiatives
- Leverage customer insights and market research to develop data-driven content strategies that meet the needs of our target audience
- Conduct social listening across owned channels to gather insights on prevalent narratives among our target audiences, our brand sentiment, and our share-of-voice
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers, influencers, and advocates to drive customer loyalty and advocacy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging content marketing techniques to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Establish objectives and key results to measure success of content marketing efforts and provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing team, providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities
- Partner cross-functional to influence key strategies with stakeholders across the company
