Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The staff physician per diem (Clinical) is responsible for providing direct outpatient care to Rheumatology patients at Uhealth Locations.   He/she will provide outpatient clinical care Uhealth Locations 2 full days a month. 

Qualifications:

• MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency

• Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible)

• Board Certification in Rheumatology

• Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques.

• Must be able to provide prerequisite case logs

•  Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements

• Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care

• Current BLS certification required.

• Valid DEA licensure
