Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field. 3 - 5 years of an extensive and in-depth cost/pricing data analysis experience.
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge used in complex data analysis are required.
  • Bilingual English/Japanese and/or English/Spanish ability are preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask. Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Collection of cost data from SEI/SWS group Procurement teams in the other world regions with a support of Global Purchasing Activity team members
  • Collection of cost data, using SEWS system (e.g. IPS, etc.) and SWS system (e.g. GPDB, etc.)
  • Collection of cost data from SEWS Business/Cost Planning/Sales (various business units) members as deemed necessary
  • Consolidation/analysis of cost data collected in #1 & #2 above
  • Sharing and reviewing the cost analysis data with cost savings opportunities with El Paso Procurement team members
  • Support tracking of the use of cost savings opportunities with El Paso Procurement team members and share regular reports with the management team
  • Work with internal department's Purchasing Global team members to reconcile data regional data, organize, as well as layout work plans with cost saving opportunities.
  • Determine profitability affecting specific Business Units.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned
