Provides Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support which includes, but is not limited to, Tier III repairs to systems that are beyond the technical expertise of the organization’s level.
Provides installation, operation and maintenance training and troubleshooting to personnel.
Candidates will have experience configuring Cisco routers and switches, experience operating and configuring VSAT/ Idirect, experience in integration, fielding, production, installation, test, and evaluation, maintenance, and Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) in Department of Defense (DoD) C4ISR systems, subsystems, and equipment.
On the Job Training, CERPs and equipment upgrade of systems.
Generating and maintaining work orders and shipping / return of OCONUS and CONUS equipment requiring maintenance utilizing the program’s logistical database software.
Conducts bench testing of all components and apply appropriate equipment maintenance to identify system status before shipment and storage.
Assists in research and development efforts, as requested, and modification of new and existing systems.
Provide daily and/or weekly, and as needed, deliverables depicting support provided to our customers.
Responsible for participating in promoting, improving, maintaining, and supporting all telecommunications services and/or systems.
Helps to ensure that all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed.
Serves as a liaison to users, departments, and vendors by providing the assistance on all aspects of telecommunications services and systems used throughout the organization.
Assists in all service / system upgrades while being a team player involving telecommunications and networking projects.
Provides hands-on assistance involving troubleshooting and diagnostic support for all related systems, equipment failures or service issues.
Uses knowledge of current systems to promote beneficial capabilities and leverage use of the system's features.
Installs and tests communication equipment.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to acquire and maintain Top Secret w/SCI clearance.
Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with RF communications and/or communications networks, to include three (3) of the four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test and Evaluation, and Training.
Must be a recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems development, logistics support or test & evaluation.
Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches, Specialized experience in the design, development, testing, analysis, operation or maintenance of Joint Warfighter Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems Deployable Node.
Knowledge in HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN and INMARSAT networks, and LAN/ WAN.
Candidates must be able to pass CRC for potential deployments.
Technical Training in DoD C4ISR systems to include Satellite Communications Equipment or Networking Equipment.
Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a self-starter and proven experience of accomplishing the mission with minimal oversight.
