Requirements
  • Minimum age is 21
  • Professional experience directly related to licensed or accredited school age/camp programs, preferred
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Ability to transport all program materials and supplies to site with ability to visit all sites as needed; required
  • Currently hold or have the willingness to acquire a minimum of twelve college credits (with at least 3 credit hours specific to early childhood education) in education, youth development or related field
  • Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED & First Aid; Food Worker Card; Mandated Reporter training certificate; Health & Safety certificate (can be acquired after hire with agreed upon schedule)
Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Site Director in planning, management, and supervision of an assigned site
  • Support program quality with age-appropriate activities, coaching, and supervision of site staff
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics for program materials and supplies to the site and site visits as needed
  • May supervise program staff and ensure adherence to Camp Fire Alaska policies and licensing requirements (as part of site supervision)
