Manage and lead large-scale machine learning research projects, ensuring they align with business goals.
Scale our models on massive datasets in a distributed fashion across many GPU nodes.
Develop innovative new techniques focused on large-scale models for biomolecular design.
Develop robust and scalable AI pipelines to process, analyze, and interpret large-scale biological and chemical datasets.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI research and bioengineering, communicate insights to the broader team, and incorporate relevant techniques into the company’s research agenda.
Work closely with software engineers to integrate AI models into production systems, platforms,
and front-end applications.
Support customers on the deployment of our systems into real-world drug discovery workflows.
Participate in writing research papers, patent applications, and case studies.
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on deep learning model development, with expertise in PyTorch, JAX or Tensorflow.
Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and AI algorithms.
Demonstrated ability to independently lead research projects, for example by publishing research at top conferences or serving as a staff+ engineer in top industry functions.
Previous experience applying AI to biomolecular data is a plus.
Experience managing technical teams or leading complex technical projects is a plus.
