Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Industrial Hygiene; Environmental Science, Traffic Safety; Transit Safety; Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 2 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies (for example Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Lean Six Sigma) within Supply Chain or manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
  • Identifying potential risks and conducting training sessions to educate drivers on safe operation practices.
  • Supervising the team, ensuring that each member follows safety protocols and holds themselves accountable.
  • Handling the reporting and investigative processes in the event of an accident or injury, ensuring thorough analysis and prompt action.
  • Staying up to date with OSHA regulations and reporting criteria, always maintaining compliance to create a safe and healthy work environment for everyone.
