About the Position
The Endpoint Administrator position provides technical support and maintenance of infrastructure hardware and software, system monitoring and escalation, and problem determination and resolution. This position requires a wide range of desktop and infrastructure knowledge, including but not limited to computer hardware, mobile devices, networking, printers, security, software, storage, and telecommunications.

We Require
- Four years of related work experience in administering, configuring, managing, installing, and troubleshooting server and storage systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related or technology-related field
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value
- Two years of related experience with Enterprise Management technology such as Intune, Azure AD, SCCM, and other third-party tools
- Five years of related experience supporting an MS Windows environment
- Three years of experience with Microsoft O365 and associated suite of tools Active Directory management experience
- Group Policy Management experience
- Scripting and automation with PowerShell experience
- Experience with SCCM or other software management tool implementation, deployment, and management
Job Contributions
- Implement patch management strategy and schedules installation configures applications for deployment to desktops
- Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on Azure AD, Intune, Autopilot, Office 365, and SCCM
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases using Endpoint Management applications
- Manages WSUS and security software to ensure endpoints have the latest patches and security
- Participates in County security initiatives, including regular security workshops, keeping the department up-to-date against the latest threats, and providing security training to DTI employees
- Monitor all endpoints for performance and alert COC DTI to issues
- Manage Group Policy for desktop workstations to enable day-to-day business operations
- Manage Azure Active Directory users and groups as required and user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations following best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Support SCCM imaging process, including loading new device drivers and assisting Desktop Support with imaging-related issues
- Monitor Splunk and other security logs and implement security policies and procedures for endpoints
- Assist the DTI Support Center and Desktop Support teams in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving user and system issues
- Participate in the creation, documentation, and implementation of IT policies and procedures
- Assist management and other teams with projects as assigned
Working Conditions
Mostly office settings are in high volume, fast-paced environments. Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities.
