Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant with 3–5 years of professional accounting experience to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting operations. You will work closely with management to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly closing activities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes as needed
Monitor compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies
Review budgets and forecasts; analyze financial trends and variances
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling
Understanding of tax compliance and reporting requirements
Project management and process improvement experience
