Requirements
- Proven effectiveness in collaborating, negotiating, and influencing key stakeholders
- Strong strategic planning and project management capabilities
- Must be independent, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced, and energetic environment
- Experience leading transformational change efforts
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with senior leaders and executives
- Some travel required
- 7-10+ years experience in corporate Talent Management/Learning/OD/strategic HR
- Expertise and experience with organizational design, career pathing, and workforce planning
- Strong knowledge of business grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Good understanding of Google tools (Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc)
- Undergraduate or Master's degree in an HR or OD related discipline
Responsibilities
- Own Magic Leap's 'Performance Excellence' lifecycle including goal-setting, yearly performance management processes, and the End-of-Year Review
- Responsible for the needs analysis, end-to-end design, implementation and sustainment of performance management systems, programs, and tools
- Educate leaders on their role to manage performance of teams as an essential part of their jobs
- Partner with the Sr. Director of L&D to design and implement career development experiences, processes, and tools that enables high performance to thrive
- Help to create a growth mindset culture as part of the Learning & Development philosophy
- Partner with HR functions to align performance processes with Total Rewards and Talent Management needs including Magic Leap's job architecture, (i.e., job families, role profiles, etc)
- Analyze the audience, content, technologies, operational constraints and trade-offs associated with selecting and delivering the best methods
- Partner with key stakeholders to organize, manage, and execute performance solutions
- Continually evaluate solutions for quality, business impact, scalability and sustainability
- Conduct evaluations to understand successes and improvement opportunities
- Identify and analyze data to isolate issues, test solutions and prioritize competing opportunities
- Serve as a role model for performance management and developing capabilities in others
- Suggest process improvements to improve performance standards
- Owns strategy and planning for Performance Excellence at Magic Leap
- Supports People Team strategy, priorities, and goals
