Job Description:
As a Digital Design Engineer at ADI, you will take on a more independent role in the design and development of advanced digital ICs, including logic cores for mixed-signal systems, memory systems, and digital signal processing units. You will lead the creation of digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL, conducting design synthesis, simulations, and timing analysis to ensure performance and power requirements are met. You will also participate in FPGA prototyping, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the reliability of digital designs under varying process, voltage, and temperature conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and verify digital circuits, including microprocessors and logic cores, using Verilog or VHDL.
- Perform design synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), and simulation to ensure timing, power, and performance targets are met.
- Lead FPGA prototyping to validate and test digital designs before fabrication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are optimized for performance and manufacturability.
- Debug and optimize digital ICs to meet stringent performance requirements.
Skills You Will Need to be Successful:
- Digital Circuit Design: Expertise in designing and optimizing high-performance digital circuits. Expertise in designing and optimizing high-performance digital circuits.
- Firmware / Embedded Design: Strong skills in developing embedded systems and firmware.
- Digital Modeling: Proficiency in creating and verifying digital models to ensure design reliability.
- Finite-State Machines: Advanced ability to design finite-state machines for control logic in digital circuits.
- Static Timing Analysis (STA): Proficiency in performing static timing analysis to ensure timing requirements are met.
- Verilog RTL: Strong proficiency in using Verilog for RTL design of digital logic.
- Linux Bash Shell: Expertise in using Linux Bash Shell to automate tasks and enhance workflow efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in digital IC design.
- Proficiency in digital design tools and hardware description languages.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
