Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of B2B relationship management experience.
  • Experience with consultative relationship building, objection handling, and customer-oriented demonstrations, preferably supporting SaaS, cloud, media, marketing, or web analytics platforms.
  • Expertise in digital media and analytics that can be applied to practical customer solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and handle numerous simultaneous priorities with stakeholders across customer organizations.
  • Demonstrated success growing a portfolio of enterprise customer relationships.
  • Excellent written communication, persuasive speaking, demonstration, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and resiliency.
Responsibilities
  • Own relationships with the largest customers and manage, develop, and grow strategic relationships within an assigned region and book of business.
  • Use systematic account management and forecasting to oversee a large customer base, ensure timely renewals, identify potential churn, provide product optimization, and own portfolio net growth.
  • Cultivate relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure optimal product engagement and support.
  • Understand customer technical needs and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver Chartbeat and Tubular Labs solutions effectively.
  • Uncover customer global and enterprise-level business goals and explain how the product suite supports those goals and key performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities for product optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customize product offerings and build and maintain custom account plans.
  • Anticipate and negotiate annual renewals while assessing upsell potential to improve customer output and engagement.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and present Chartbeat and Tubular Labs as the optimal long-term solution.
  • Flag at-risk accounts and work with internal stakeholders to retain accounts where possible.
  • Engage key customer stakeholders consultatively to ensure they receive full value from their relationship with Chartbeat and its products.
  • Uncover customer business challenges through proactive engagement and training.
  • Serve as a leader and mentor within the Customer Success organization, share best practices, onboard new Customer Success team members, and own internal improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Travel as needed to represent Chartbeat at customer meetings and conferences worldwide.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with or for media organizations.
  • Experience supporting SaaS, cloud, media, marketing, or web analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of CRM activity, opportunity, and pipeline management, including Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with web and media publishing technologies and debugging tools.
  • Experience working with global customers.
  • Multinational experience.
  • Multilingual skills, including Spanish, French, Japanese, or German.
