  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with a proven track record in IT operations and infrastructure management—preferably in a startup or fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with Nomi Health’s mission and business goals.
  • Lead initiatives to modernize and scale the IT infrastructure to support rapid growth in a competitive healthcare environment.
  • Efficiently manage day-to-day operational tasks while formulating and implementing long-term strategic IT initiatives.
  • Provide visionary technical leadership in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures on AWS.
  • Champion DevOps best practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code, and automation across our development and operational processes.
  • Oversee and guide the SRE team in establishing effective monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response strategies to ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Mentor cross-functional teams in adopting modern practices that improve operational efficiency and system reliability.
  • Lead and mentor the IT organization, including the SRE team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Ensure seamless IT service delivery and support across all divisions, maintaining high availability, performance, and reliability of critical systems.
  • Oversee and optimize all aspects of our technology infrastructure, including back office IT systems, DevOps environments, and AWS-based cloud operations.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies with a strong focus on healthcare data security and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with product teams to understand technical requirements and ensure IT systems effectively support the delivery of specific product objectives.
  • Collaborate on designing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance patient care and drive operational efficiency.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments that support long-term scalability.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and partnerships to secure high-quality services and solutions.
  • Interface with the accounting and finance teams to ensure IT expenditures are accurately tracked, properly allocated, and aligned with the company’s financial objectives.
  • Continuously assess and enhance IT processes, driving automation, efficiency, and adherence to best practices across the organization.
  • Leverage Agile methodologies to drive iterative improvements and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain Nomi Health’s competitive edge.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, division heads, and cross-functional teams to ensure IT initiatives align with overall business and product strategies.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring broad understanding and support for IT projects.
