Quality Control Technician I

About this position

The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for all incoming products at Plexus Worldwide. This role involves meticulous inspection of products to verify they meet established specifications. This role also is responsible for ensuring a GMP compliant warehouse through daily inspection of the warehouse facility. This position is critical in upholding Plexus Worldwide’s high standards for product quality and facility maintenance.

What you’ll do

• You inspect incoming dietary supplements, foods, and cosmetics according to established procedures.
• You inspect in-process assembly projects.
• You inspect customer returned products and determines disposition per established procedures.
• You use basic laboratory equipment, including balances and pH meters, and performs basic math operations in the performance of inspection duties.
• You complete critical evaluation of appearance, taste, smell and texture.
• You review inspection results to ensure compliance with the applicable specifications.
• You inspect warehouse, including environmental, housekeeping, and pest control.
• You maintain data logs and work-performed logs
• You inform the Quality Manager about deviations.
• You perform additional Quality Assurance/Quality Control duties as assigned.
• You follow all applicable GMP’s for the area in which assigned.
• You follow Safety procedures, uses personal protective equipment (PPE) and Safety Policy.
  

You should have

• You have a High School Diploma or GED
• You have 1 year of related work experience
