Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or a passing score on the IVC Reading Comprehension assessment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures, batch records, and training documents.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to understand basic math.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with bottle packaging line equipment, including the labeler, bottle hopper, capper, and bundler.
  • Assemble cartons, apply labels to cartons and shippers, and verify accuracy against the work order.
  • Pack finished products while inspecting lot numbers, labels, caps, neck bands, and other quality criteria.
  • Perform required rework and verify that all components are correct.
  • Improve process reliability and minimize line downtime.
  • Cross-train and provide support in other departments as needed.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new employees as needed.
  • Verify components, labels, and packaging against work orders.
  • Inspect finished goods for proper lot numbers, caps, and neck bands.
  • Perform rework and ensure corrective actions meet quality standards.
  • Clean tooling, machinery, conveyors, hoses, brushes, vibrators, and catch pans after each production run.
  • Maintain general housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and report safety concerns, accidents, or injuries to a supervisor.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food and Drug Administration regulations, including gowning practices.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain regular attendance during assigned working hours.
  • Perform individual assignments directed by management and other assigned duties.

  • Three to six months of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment, such as current Good Manufacturing Practices or Food and Drug Administration-regulated manufacturing.
  • A strong work ethic, professional approach, and ownership of line production performance.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
