Requirements
  • You have experience working in a photo studio setting in a production or project management capacity; familiar with the basics of photography
  • You have excellent organisational, time and task management skills, and ability to communicate cross-functionally
  • You have experience with MS Office and with Monday.com or similar tool
  • You are proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
  • You are a team player attitude, willing to go above and beyond at all times
  • You are process-oriented with strong attention to detail and applies the continuous improvement mindset to all work streams
  • You have interest in or experience with sneakers and streetwear a big plus
Responsibilities
  • The Photo Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the photography pipeline and maintaining the product flow in our NY studio, NJ, LA warehouse. The Photo Operations Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of Consignment Operations. This role will play an integral part in improving our time to go live for products and improve our consignor experience. As the Photo Operations Manager, communication and organization would be instrumental in cross functional work streams with our Creative, Content, Social and Operations teams
  • You are responsible for short and long-term operational planning for the Studio, including staff planning, end-to-end budget management (labor, hard costs) in partnership with the Operations team, leading daily planning meetings, and assigning job duties
  • You will serve as the primary liaison between the photo studio and the rest of the business, driving cross-functional and organizational alignment and ensuring the photo team is clear on their objectives
  • You will forecast future volumes and make plans to ensure capacity meets demand, creating contingency plans and reacting quickly to changing priorities
  • You set daily production goals and ensure resources are in place to meet targets for product detail photography for our consigned and owned product, coordinating directly with your studio team, Retail, Operations and Logistics to ensure successful shoots and fast turnaround on consigned product
  • You'll work in partnership with the Content and Social team, on planning and execution of editorial and social photo and video projects As a lead at the studio, you ensure standard operating procedures are followed, identify inefficiencies in workflow and drive a culture of continuous improvement; you collect and analyze data and test solutions to drive process improvements
  • You'll oversee the day-to-day management of the studio and roll out qualitative enhancements
  • You manage and supervise the studio workflow, upkeep, space organization, vendors, and in-house photoshoot processes
  • You demonstrate thought leadership around industry trends and best practices
  • You'll get to know our project management system (Monday.com) and quickly become a champion and guardian of how it works to support the team Be a visionary, providing suggestions and recommendations around how our photo space can evolve over time
