Chamberlain University opens 25th US campus in Cincinnati, awards full-ride nursing scholarship

Chamberlain University has opened its 25th campus in Cincinnati, with the first cohort of students set to begin classes on 31 August. The institution, which is the US's largest school of nursing and part of Covista, marked the opening by awarding its inaugural Future Healthcare Hero BSN Scholarship, covering the full cost of a Cincinnati resident's nursing degree. The campus addresses a significant regional healthcare workforce shortage. Employers across Cincinnati posted nearly 50,000 healthcare job openings last year, with six open healthcare jobs for every healthcare graduate in the region, according to the 2026 Covista Care Capacity Monitor. Chamberlain and Covista are also partnering with The Health Collaborative through a $150,000 donation over three years to bring healthcare career exploration programmes to local youth centres.
