As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Tool and material shortage reporting (outplant workorder tracking, incoming PO’s and material commitment dates, and resolve NC’s/SNR’s at the supplier).
- Supplement schedule (Nozzle) daily management
- Design/Analysis schedule (Nozzle) updates and communication of escalations
- Incorporation of emergent process/rate improvements from technician/ME feedback (i.e. higher life sanding discs, A-frame hoists, eddy current weld inspection, etc.)
- Manufacturing log (NC/DAC tracking) ownership
- Production facility buildout communication of escalations and held needed
- Program status & needs to Project Team Lead (me) every 1-2 weeks.
Qualifications;
- Experience in different operating environments including research & development, as well as production
- Project management of production/development hardware for aerospace
- Experience coordinating or managing small projects
- Comfortability in actively participating in discussions regarding mechanical analysis/drawings/manufacturing techniques
- Comfortability in communicating to cross-functional teams and delivering project status to stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
Salary Range: $75,000 - 120,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
