  • Citizen of the USA
  • A CURRENT Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • A proven record in complex problem solving, effective communication, decision-making, financial management, program and production management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products on a self-sufficient basis to design\build effective tracking and team coordination materials
  • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 15 years related experience required
  • Master's Degree preferred or a minimum of 20 years related experience in lieu of a Master's Degree
  • Experience and knowledge with USAF AFIs to include flight regulations, maintenance orders, logistics support concepts, and contracting/management procedures and requirements
  • Must have a valid US Passport
Responsibilities
  • Provide Request for Information (RFI) support services to US Air Force program managers and project engineers during the design, integration, testing, maintenance, logistics support and field service support on Big Safari South Seas aircraft and ground systems
  • Monitors and reviews FMS support contracts to ensure they have current information concerning operating locations, on-going maintenance or support activities, and identifies any limitations that would lead to mission system degradation or sustainability
  • Collects and analyzes aircraft Quality Performance Indicators and makes recommendations to Program Managers & Project Engineers to improve aircraft reliability and maintainability
  • Provides support during technical evaluation of contract work proposals to both Air Force and government contracting officers
  • Participates in the transformation of user mission requirements into technical specification and contractor statements of work (SOW)
  • Develops and presents briefings to senior customer, contractor, and government personnel
  • Proactively designs and builds effective tracking and coordination mechanisms to compile end user, contractor, and government inputs on program related documentation
  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates developmental sustainment issues related to program development and integration
  • Provide management, engineering, and logistics support services to US Air Force Program Managers and Project Engineers during the design, integration, testing, maintenance, logistics support and field service support on Big Safari South Seas aircraft and ground systems
  • Travel as required to support program meetings, installation of equipment, updating/testing of modified software, and to provide customer support and training as required
  • Monitoring all required ground and flight testing of specialized mission system equipment
  • Required to review and verify all mission system ground and flight test plans are accurate and satisfy all necessary system performance objectives are met prior to final acceptance
  • Verifies and performs testing upon developmental hardware/software to ensure contracted system performance specifications are being accomplished
  • Reviews and performs validation testing of aircraft and mission system technical publications and user manual documentation
  • Evaluates training materials for content and effectiveness to ensure they meet the contractual requirements set forth by the program
  • Provide assistance to the South Seas team and their visitors to ensure all aspects of the Technology Control Plan (TCP) are being adhered to
  • Coordinates on all travel requests for the South Seas team to ensure appropriate timelines and procedures are being met and paperwork being routed
  • Serve as technical requirements liaison between Project Engineers, PA, RAAF, 645 AESG/AESS, L3H, and any applicable sub-contractors
  • Facilitate attendance and escort CoA attendees in the System Integration Lab (SIL) on an as needed bases as defined by the Program Engineers
