Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related area of study, or an associate degree with two years of directly related work experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent with four years of directly related work experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Two years of experience using an Epic electronic health record.
  • Experience in telehealth services and digital health technologies.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching abilities, particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with Epic, Microsoft Office Suite, and various business support applications.
Responsibilities
  • Assess current electronic health record workflows through regular site visits and provide personalized in-person support and training on ELLiE functionalities and best practices for providers and clinical support staff.
  • Organize and facilitate new provider training and ongoing educational or refresher training to support learning and adaptation to system updates.
  • Provide hands-on training and resolve issues with telemedicine and digital applications.
  • Identify optimization and workflow redesign opportunities, collaborate with IT Operations and Products teams to develop and implement solutions, and ensure changes meet user needs and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and practice staff.
  • Reinforce electronic health record best practices and address emerging issues to enhance user proficiency.
  • Review data and analytics to identify trends, usage patterns, and areas for improvement in electronic health record utilization.
  • Monitor electronic health record performance metrics and user feedback to identify further optimization opportunities.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with organizational policies and applicable standards.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Multitask across various projects and support the Assistant Vice President of Physician Optimization in special initiatives.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to organizational goals.
Desired Qualifications
  • Epic Ambulatory or Epic Credentialed Trainer Certification.
