Requirements
  • Functional Knowledge of FINDUR
  • Experience in resolving incidents from FINDUR logfile information
  • Experience with deployment of JAVA scripts and configuration changes
  • Good understanding of version control, release management processes and working with multiple environments
  • Some experience with debugging FINDUR JAVA scripts
  • Some knowledge of FINDUR data Modelling
  • Good understanding of Treasury Management Processes
  • Good understanding of SQL Database processes and query techniques
  • Understand how ERP / Treasury systems communicate with banks, over the SWIFT network
Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support of Maersk’s Treasury Management System, FINDUR
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve incidents or service requests reported by the end-users or the system itself
  • Become the go-to person for issues related to all support type issues
  • Maintain and use the right support processes, including logging all reported issues
  • Resolve reported and detected incidents using available information and technical skills to provide solutions
  • Troubleshoot Findur issues, related to business and system processes
  • Reconfigure and adapt the system to meet business needs and expectations
  • Create and modify reports using built-in report/Dashboard tool
  • Create and monitor scheduled jobs and alerts
  • Investigate and escalate incidents to application vendor
  • Refresh lower hosting environments and prepare them for Test and Development purposes
  • Manage deployment and version control of customised components
  • Analyse business requirements and engage 3rd party developers to provide solutions

Maersk Invests in Vertoro for Green Fuels

Danish shipping giant Maersk, via Maersk Growth, is investing in Dutch start-up Vertoro to advance its liquid lignin technology for marine fuels. This investment will help Vertoro build a demo plant operational by 2022, producing lignin-based fuels. Maersk sees lignin as a key to decarbonizing shipping, alongside biodiesel, alcohols, and ammonia. This is Maersk's third recent investment in future fuels, following investments in WasteFuel and Prometheus.
