Requirements
  • The candidate must have 3-5+ years of progressive HR experience.

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day HR operations and employee support.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR-related questions and processes.
  • Manage employee changes, including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, status changes, and other personnel updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
  • Help develop, document, and improve HR processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve HR processes.
  • Own the end-to-end payroll process and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Review payroll for accuracy, including wages, deductions, bonuses, commissions, paid time off, employee changes, and other adjustments.
  • Understand payroll tax requirements, liabilities, and multi-state payroll considerations.
  • Partner with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll issues.
  • Reconcile payroll and identify discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
  • Monitor and respond to payroll-related tax notices and issues.
  • Manage day-to-day benefits administration and employee support.
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, eligibility, and terminations.
  • Partner with benefit providers and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Administer paid time off, leave, and other employee time-off programs.
  • Maintain accurate benefit and leave records.
  • Support annual benefits processes and open enrollment.
  • Help maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states.
  • Monitor changes in employment regulations and flag potential impacts.
  • Manage state registrations, employment notices, tax notices, and other compliance requirements.
  • Maintain required employee and workplace documentation.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews.
  • Partner with leadership and external advisors when specialized legal guidance is needed.
  • Proactively identify potential compliance concerns and bring them forward.
  • Manage day-to-day administration of the human resources information system and related People systems.
  • Ensure employee data, organizational information, compensation, job information, and employment records remain accurate.
  • Manage system changes, workflows, permissions, and employee updates.
  • Maintain People documentation, resources, and internal human resources knowledge bases.
  • Use HR data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Manage the administrative side of employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Ensure new hires are properly set up in HR, payroll, benefits, and applicable systems.
  • Manage employment documentation and required forms.
  • Coordinate employee changes and terminations across relevant systems and vendors.
  • Ensure offboarding processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage day-to-day administration related to workers' compensation.
  • Support workers' compensation claims, audits, renewals, and documentation.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities related to the company's 401(k) plan.
  • Coordinate with plan providers and vendors to resolve employee or administrative issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure required processes are completed on time.
