A day in the life.
As our Employee Health & Benefits Intern on the EH&B team, you’ll gain an understanding of how we create strong benefits products for our clients and will play an integral role in our client service process. Duties may include; prepping and assembling meeting preparation materials, claim report reviews, small group renewal preparation, making changes to carrier and client information and shadowing client meetings.
MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience. Learn to apply the concepts you’ve learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You’ll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency’s internship program gives you the chance to find your interest and place in the insurance industry. MMA’s goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire. Our internship will focus on the tools needed to build a solid foundation for our Client Management or Sales career pathways.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Must be pursuing a degree in Communication, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
- Must be detailed and organized with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work on a team as well as individually.
- Must conduct self professionally; have the ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management, employees, and peers.
- Proficiency in MS office applications required.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
- Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

The applicable hourly rate for this role is $20.
