Requirements
  • 3-5 years of FX sales experience for AVP Level
  • 4-6 years of FX sales experience for VP Level
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles and portfolio management with a track record of growing and maintaining relationships through value-added service (e.g., booking trades) and commercial skills
  • Experience and understanding of FX flow, derivatives, credit calculations, options pricing, and spreads
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial approach to business origination and developing new relationships
  • Bachelor's/University degree required; Master's degree preferred
Responsibilities
  • Actively prospect and acquire new corporate clients through targeted outreach, networking, and strategic engagement
  • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Expand and maintain an existing book of corporate clients by providing exceptional service and identifying new opportunities
  • Independently and/or jointly work within business product teams to achieve strategic growth and market share objectives
  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients, identifying opportunities to originate and execute meaningful transactions
  • Provide expert advice and counsel related to technology and operational aspects of FX products
  • Foster collaboration with internal partners to enhance client engagement, increase dialogue, and deliver specialized expertise
  • Understand and analyze clients' businesses and exposures to provide best-suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
  • Support senior traders and bankers in servicing clients involved in buying and selling securities, derivatives, FX, and commodities
  • Drive team strategy across specified industry and product lines
  • Achieve specified goals in market and wallet share for the identified client franchise
  • Partner closely with key business areas and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of client needs
  • Work closely with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, supervision, expense discipline, and ethics
  • Assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation
  • Adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
  • Apply sound ethical judgment, and escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency
