Position Summary: The Material Manager is responsible for material management, vendor management, process management, and aids in cost management at the Home Building Facility. The Material Manager plans, organizes, coordinates,controls,andsupervisesthepurchasing department,warehouse, and inventorycontrol activities and works closely with the manufacturing teams to establish scheduling and planning requirements.This requires working with other departments at the facility including Engineering, Production, Service, Sales, as well as working collaborativelywithHomeofficeteams(procurement,accounting,etc..).TheMaterialManagerreportsdirectlytotheGeneralManager of the HBF with a dotted line report into the Home Officematerial’s department.
