Automotive Quality Control Technician/Mechanic

Rallye BMW, Long Island’s premier BMW dealership, has immediate opportunities for Quality Control Technicians! Seeking motivated, reliable individuals, looking to join a team whose values are based in teamwork and delivering the highest caliber of customer service!

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Inspect all work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with BMW factory and Rallye BMW standards.
• Examine and test-drive all vehicles to ensure that the cause of vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/ perform repairs are completed. Communicate all discrepancies to the Service Manager, Advisor, or technician.
• Road test vehicles as required, or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Understand and follow Federal, State, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of the work area; be able to account for all BMW owned tools at all times.
• Attend all requested BMW training classes and shop training meetings.
• Willing to accept additional or different tasks when circumstances change (e.g., emergencies, changes in personnel, work load, new technologies)

PAY: $18 - $20 Hourly

• A clean/valid New York State Driver’s License required.
• NYS inspectors license preferred.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
