DESCRIPTION:
CSG’s corporate Contracts Manager will be responsible for providing full life cycle contract management support for our Federal contracts.
This position requires US Citizenship due to our Federal contractual obligation.
Must have prior relevant experience within Federal Contract Management/Administration.
As a Federal Government Contracts Manager, you will serve as a staff member part of the corporate team and report directly to the CEO but also regularly interact with CSG Executive Leadership and other corporate support staff to resolve any contractual needs or issues to ensure contract compliance.
• Thorough knowledge of FAR/DFARS (including Subparts), and related federal legislation and regulations, and industry best practices
Comprehensive knowledge of government contracting policies that include the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
• Experience with administration and management of GSA Schedule
• Strong understanding of all contract types, including but not limited to: T&M, FFP, CPAF, CPFF and IDIQs
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of a company
• Responsible for electronic file management
• Review and analyze contract documents to determine contractual obligations to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures and to determine possible contract risk to the business
• Assist with contract-related audit items
• Responsible for supporting the contracting and procurement functions in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial environment, with emphases on compliance, operational efficiency, and customer service
• Ability to interact with executives, clients, and acquisition officials; perform consistently with the firm’s approach to contracts negotiation and management; and serve as an adviser to internal and external stakeholders on contractual and regulatory matters
• Reviews contracts, subcontracts, and modifications for completeness, compliance, and accuracy from the proposal stage to project close-out, including timely submittal of required reports (e.g., limitation of funds, deliverable tracking, intellectual property reports, and government property, as applicable)
• Proactively Advises management of contractual rights, obligations and risks; and provides interpretations of terms and conditions
• Monitors performance, funding, and payments on assigned contracts
• Manages the proper coordination of various types of agreements, subcontracts and other contract/legal documents with accounting, legal, program management and other organizations as necessary
• Prepare representations and certifications required by solicitations and/or partners
