Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a financial role, such as Project Finance / Controls, Project Accounting, Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience working with contract types, e.g., CR, CPFF, T&M, FFP.
  • Experience using an ERP system.
  • Experience using MS365, including Word and Excel, e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Read and understand ICF’s contracts, processes, and procedures to appropriately and accurately set-up of direct and intercompany projects.
  • Set-up and maintain Direct, and IWO (Intercompany Work Order) Projects in Deltek Costpoint for all contract types, e.g., Cost-plus, T&M (Time & Materials), and Fixed Price, in accordance with company internal SOX policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for project data maintenance actions in Costpoint. Maintain ERP (Deltek Costpoint) project information, i.e., contract / funding values, period of performance, business metrics, project labor categories, etc., and assure data quality work with Project Managers, Project Finance Controllers, Contracts, and Revenue Compliance staff to ensure project setup configurations meet the billing, revenue recognition and reporting requirements and are aligned with ICF Project Accounting standards and policies.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including variance analysis and financial forecasts
  • Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to address questions and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure timely invoice processing. Work with assigned billing specialist; review and approve invoices; follow up on collections; and analyze and understand unbilled work in progress (WIP).
  • Assist Project Finance Controllers with processing of vendor and subcontractor invoices ensuring accurate posting of cost to direct and intercompany projects.
  • Maintain project forecasts to assist the project team with effective financial planning.
