The Role
Some challenges you’ll tackle
- Enter invoices into payment processing system (Coupa)
- Assist with check run preparation to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner
- Assist with purchase requisition process
- Communicate internally with departments across the organization to ensure timely remittance of payables
- Supplier onboarding
- Provide guidance and instruction to employees regarding PO process and purchasing policy
- Communicate internally with finance to provide budget awareness
- Communicate externally with vendors to maintain relationships
- Respond to inbound emails to AP department
- Maintain up to date vendor records
- Provide monthly support of AP Balance and Prepaid Expenses to facilitate month end close
- Assist with administration of corporate credit card function
- Assist with 1099 preparation annually
- Support ad hoc projects
We’re looking for people who:
- At least 2 years accounts payable experience
- Accounting background
- Ability to critically analyze and evaluate problems
- Great written and verbal communication -
- Comfortable with fast paced communications & working in a remote environment
- System savvy - can adapt to new platforms quickly (Coupa a plus)
- Strong sense of urgency and a high level of responsiveness

💰Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $65,000-$70,000 as well as stock options
