Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of integration and test experience in a professional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with hardware
  • Experience leading test campaigns on the ground or in flight
  • Demonstrated ability to lead safety critical tests and operations
  • Experience assembling components in a production environment
  • Experience assembling prototype hardware
  • Experience manufacturing mechanical and electrical (harnessing) sub-assemblies
  • Experience with computer science languages (Python or similar)
Responsibilities
  • assist in the design and installation of modified flight control systems, throughout the development of a remotely operated autoflight system
  • ensure the proper build-up of functions and capabilities, beginning in the lab and ending on the vehicle
  • verify the end-to-end functionality of the system and ensure the ability to assess all desired test requirements
  • engage with many teams throughout the organization and have a firm understanding of the vehicle’s capabilities
  • act as the responsible engineer for the vehicle and often as test director as part of the flight test campaigns
