The Job:

As a HelloFresh Market Recipe Developer you will be a member of our high-performing Culinary Team. From our office in Copenhagen, you will take an important role in creating high quality recipes and recipe cards. The ideal candidate will be able to create flavorful new recipes and concepts for HelloFresh Market and masterfully create and update recipe cards to brand standards, being able to write in a perfect English is therefore a requirement, Nordic languages are a plus. 

The position is truly cross-functional and you will work closely with the Editorial and Product team to develop the best possible product.

You will:

• Create and develop 2-3 new recipes on a weekly basis while maintaining product fit, cost, and deliciousness
• Participate in panel tastings and share feedback with the Culinary Team members to ensure quality standards
• Weekly edit and proofread recipes ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency of voice and style across all recipe cards. 
• Coordinate with our translators to ensure perfect translated recipe cards. 
• Implement and interpret customer feedback as it applies to recipes
• Work closely with the Culinary and Operations teams to eliminate recipe errors if/when product changes are made
• Set up and activate the weekly menu online. Ensure photo accuracy, correct menu structure and upload. 

You have:

• A culinary degree or certification from an accredited program
• 1+ year of professional experience in the field of Recipe Product Development or the like       
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work cross functionally with various teams to gather key inputs and are able to work well with diverse opinions and competing priorities
• Exceptionally skilled in copy editing, proofreading, and ensuring adherence to style guides
• Highly organized with supreme attention to detail. You’ll triple confirm and cross-check until you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it’s correct!
• Ability to meet extremely tight deadlines while ensuring complete accuracy across all projects and tasks
• A self-starter attitude and truly proactive problem solver who works relentlessly to execute all steps needed until the problem is resolved
• Excellent command of the English language is a must, Nordic languages are a plus.
