Requirements
  • Active TS//SCI clearance with CI poly
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong emphasis on cloud-based solution design and architecture.
  • Extensive experience building and leading AWS cloud infrastructure solutions at scale across multiple classification domains (IL5 to IL6+) simultaneously
  • In-depth understanding of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, serverless computing, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.
  • Experience working with and leading Agile development teams.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements, translating them into comprehensive cloud-based solutions.
  • Design and architect cloud solutions that are scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective, using best practices and relevant cloud services.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on cloud-native services, serverless computing, microservices architecture, containerization, and related technologies.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation to clearly communicate design and implementation approaches to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients, project teams, and cross-functional groups to make informed decisions regarding cloud technologies and solution design.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud solutions.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with cloud solutions, including security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.
  • Provide hands-on support during implementation and troubleshooting phases to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and technical team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
