Requirements
  • At least 3 years of product management experience, including meaningful experience owning infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or developer-productivity products.
  • Ability to discuss CI/CD systems, AWS cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and distributed systems with engineers.
  • Track record of shipping infrastructure or platform improvements with measurable impact on reliability, cost, or engineering velocity.
  • Experience partnering with engineering, security, and compliance teams, ideally in a regulated industry such as fintech, brokerage, or financial services.
  • Ability to prioritize work and navigate tradeoff conversations across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to present strategy and tradeoffs to engineers and leadership.
  • Ability to create clarity and a roadmap out of ambiguity with minimal oversight.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
  • Own the roadmap for infrastructure and DevOps priorities, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and the AWS cloud environment, in partnership with the infrastructure engineering team.
  • Work with Ruby and Java backend teams to identify infrastructure or tooling gaps that slow delivery or create risk.
  • Prioritize and sequence infrastructure work against the needs of application teams building customer-facing trading platforms, account-opening flows, and internal tools.
  • Define healthy-infrastructure criteria by tracking deployment frequency, incident frequency, mean time to recovery, and infrastructure cost, and use these metrics to justify roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with infrastructure engineers to improve build, test, and deployment workflows so engineers can ship changes to production quickly and safely.
  • Lead build-versus-buy evaluations for infrastructure tooling and vendors, including containerization, observability, and configuration management, weighing cost, speed, security, and long-term scalability.
  • Ensure infrastructure and deployment practices meet the security, compliance, and audit expectations of a regulated brokerage.
  • Communicate roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and progress to engineering leadership and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a software or infrastructure engineer before moving into product management.
  • Familiarity with options and futures trading systems, market data, or order-execution infrastructure.
