Requirements
- CRM/database management (cloud-based preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (certificate or similar validation preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, interpret, and redistribute aggregated data
- Strong communicator (written and oral)
- Eager to learn
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- 1-3 years experience in database administration
- Experience in commercial real estate is an asset
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Maintain and build out the leasing database of all property related documentation, lease availabilities, retail developments, vacancies, and contracts throughout Eastern Canada
- Input lease data accurately into a cloud-based software using information sourced from agents, landlords, clients, and third-party databases
- Work closely with leasing teams across Eastern Canada to ensure relevancy and accuracy of the data
- Source and test methods of improving workflow and optimizing efficiencies
- Research trends of retailers and their expansion plans (by making calls, collecting data, etc.)
- Contribute to designated local market research requests (market snapshots, market overviews, quarterly market decks, topic specific research to support pitches and brokerage opportunities)
- Non-exempt status (hourly)
- Reports to designated Regional Manager responsible for hiring, training, and ongoing development
