Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build out the leasing database of all property related documentation, lease availabilities, retail developments, vacancies, and contracts throughout Eastern Canada
• Input lease data accurately into a cloud-based software using information sourced from agents, landlords, clients, and third-party databases
• Work closely with leasing teams across Eastern Canada to ensure relevancy and accuracy of the data
• Source and test methods of improving workflow and optimizing efficiencies
• Research trends of retailers and their expansion plans (by making calls, collecting data, etc.)
• Contribute to designated local market research requests (market snapshots, market overviews, quarterly market decks, topic specific research to support pitches and brokerage opportunities)

Qualifications and Skills:

• CRM/database management (cloud-based preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (certificate or similar validation preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, interpret, and redistribute aggregated data
• Strong communicator (written and oral)
• Eager to learn
• Ability to work independently and part of a team

Education and Experience:

• 1-3 years experience in database administration
• Experience in commercial real estate is an asset
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

Status and Reporting:

• Non-exempt status (hourly)
• Reports to designated Regional Manager responsible for hiring, training, and ongoing development
