  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with social service programs
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to communicate with clarity over virtual platforms
  • Expertise with digital communication tools, such as Zoom, Teams, Whats App and other platforms
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Up to 25% domestic travel
  • Spoken and written multilingual skills in one or more of the following: Spanish, Latin American Indigenous languages (Q’eqchi’, K’iche’, Mam, Q’anjob’al)
Responsibilities
  • Achieve participant satisfaction and program outcomes for the R&P program through timely, high-quality services, including documentation of all deliverables
  • Confirm casefile compliance through regular and routine upkeep of case notes and case documentation
  • Effectively utilize client service systems and tools with full understanding and consistent usage
  • Participate in department and Community of Practice calls
  • Provide remote, multi-faceted case management services to newly arrived clients in accordance with the Cooperative Agreement
  • Develop service plans and coordinate services with other service providers
  • Assist newly arrived clients to access to a range of eligible services and supports including medical care, education for children, and English for adults
  • Secure transportation for refugee clients to/from core appointments
  • Initiate remote referrals and ensure follow up and follow through of services
  • Ensure cultural orientation for newly arrived refugees
  • Assist clients in applying for and obtaining public benefits, including (but not limited to) Food Nutrition Service, Medicaid and Cash Assistance
  • Collaborate closely with Church and Community Engagement to provide resources for clients
  • Communicate regularly with service providers to ensure timely service delivery
  • Advocate on behalf of refugee families when necessary
  • Ensure timely communication with community volunteers and churches, when applicable, in coordination with broader support team
  • Attend all state, Home Office, and coalition meetings as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned
