Playnetic goes live with Light & Wonder content marketplace.

Playnetic goes live with Light & Wonder content marketplace. Published August 18, 2026 The deal extends Playnetic's distribution reach as the studio pursues a multi-aggregator strategy across European regulated markets. Independent studios are increasingly turning to large aggregation platforms to achieve the operator scale that direct integrations alone cannot deliver. Playnetic went live with Light & Wonder on 18 August 2026, bringing its catalogue to operators across the aggregator's OpenGaming content marketplace. Playnetic titles available across Light & Wonder's operator network. Playnetic has integrated its content with Light & Wonder's OpenGaming platform, making a selection of existing titles and new releases available to operators across the aggregator's content marketplace. The agreement, which went live on 18 August 2026, is the latest in a series of distribution deals Playnetic has signed as it builds out its aggregator footprint in regulated markets. Four titles are included in the initial rollout: Sun vs Moon: Hold n' Win, Assassin of Rome, Bubble or Broom, and Farmageddon. The selection spans the studio's Hold n' Win mechanic series alongside feature-rich originals, reflecting the breadth of Playnetic's catalogue across themes and game formats. The deal follows a run of distribution agreements for the studio. Playnetic has previously gone live through Relax Gaming's Powered By Relax programme, QTech Games, Hub88, and Stake, and most recently through White Hat Gaming in June 2026. The studio holds regulatory licences in Sweden, Romania, Malta, Greece, and Ontario, and entered the Italian market in January 2026 via a partnership with Microgame. Executives comment on scale and content quality. Kai Botha, Chief Commercial Officer at Playnetic, said: 'Light & Wonder's network gives our content genuine scale, and this agreement lets us put our games in front of new operators and players whilst keeping quality and player experience at the heart of everything we deliver.' Gabi Star, Senior Director at Light & Wonder, said: 'The strength of its Hold n' Win series, alongside the wider range of releases, made Playnetic a natural addition to our line-up.' Light & Wonder's aggregation push continues. The Playnetic deal is consistent with Light & Wonder's ongoing strategy of expanding its third-party content library via OpenGaming. The platform has added multiple studios over the past 18 months, including agreements with Playson covering the UK, Canada, and Latin America, and with Gaming Corps for access to more than 38 regulated markets worldwide. Light & Wonder's newsroom confirms the platform operates as a content aggregation hub for operators across regulated markets globally. About Playnetic. SciPlay revenue falls 9% as social casino payers drop.

SciPlay revenue falls 9% as social casino payers drop. August 5, 2026 This content is for informational purposes only. Terms and eligibility vary by state. Social casino spending is concentrating into fewer paying players. Light & Wonder reported SciPlay revenue of $182 million for the second quarter of 2026. SciPlay revenue fell 9 percent from $200 million a year earlier. Light & Wonder published the second quarter 2026 results on August 4, 2026. What changed for social casino players. SciPlay operates JACKPOT PARTY Casino and other free-to-play coin titles. Light & Wonder blamed a "softer social casino free-to-play market" for the SciPlay decline. Light & Wonder also cited a drop in average monthly JACKPOT PARTY Casino payers. SciPlay daily active users stayed relatively flat on a sequential basis. Spending per remaining SciPlay player moved the other way. Average monthly revenue per paying user grew 4 percent year over year to $133.80. SciPlay adjusted EBITDA slipped 3 percent to $72 million. SciPlay margin widened 300 basis points to 40 percent. Direct sales now carry a larger share of the SciPlay business. Direct-to-consumer revenue reached $53 million during the quarter. That total equalled 29 percent of SciPlay revenue. SciPlay revenue for the first half of 2026 was $368 million, down 8 percent. Analysts had flagged SciPlay weakness before the earnings report. Jefferies analyst Kai Erman forecast an 8 percent SciPlay revenue drop for 2026, CDC Gaming reported on July 10. Erman wrote that he had "limited confidence in SciPlay recovery". GGRAsia reported that Light & Wonder net income rose 26 percent to $120 million.

Gaming and iGaming segments drive Light & Wonder's 2Q26 growth as Adjusted EBITDA climbs to US$383 million.

Gaming and iGaming segments drive Light & Wonder's 2Q26 growth as Adjusted EBITDA climbs to US$383 million. International gaming supplier Light & Wonder reported a 9% year-on-year increase in Adjusted EBITDA to US$383 million and a 26% year-on-year increase in net income to US$120 million in the June 2026 quarter, aided by strong growth across its gaming operations, Grover Gaming and iGaming segments. According to information released early Wednesday (Asia time), this came off the back of a 2% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to US$828 million, with the company pointing to margin expansion across all business segments. For the June quarter, gaming revenue increased 5% year-over-year to US$554 million, led by gaming operations revenue - up 18% to US$247 million - and table products, up 13% to US$62 million. Gaming machine sales revenue decreased 4%, primarily reflecting lower unit shipments on fewer new openings and expansions and lower adjacencies, Light & Wonder explained. iGaming delivered double-digit quarterly revenue growth, increasing 14% compared to the prior year period despite increased UK gambling duties going into effect on April 1, 2026. The company's social media arm SciPlay saw revenues fall 9% against the backdrop of a softer social casino free-to-play market. Adjusted net profit after tax was US$156 million, benefiting from Adjusted EBITDA growth but partially offset by higher interest and depreciation expenses. "Our second quarter results reflect continued execution of our content-centric operating model, with broad-based growth, margin expansion and quality earnings across all three businesses," said Light & Wonder CEO, Matt Wilson. "We continue to see the benefits of our sustained investment in studios and content, as our franchises drive strong game performance across the portfolio. "Gaming momentum remained robust, with our North American premium installed base growing for the 24th consecutive quarter, and Grover continuing to scale across existing and new markets. iGaming once again delivered double-digit growth in both revenue and Adjusted EBITDA, reflecting the resilience of our North American momentum even as we navigate headwinds from increased UK gaming duties, while SciPlay continued to grow its direct-to-consumer revenue. "As we look toward the second half of the year, we remain focused on disciplined execution, continued investment in product innovation and talent, and progressing towards both our 2026 and 2028 financial targets."
