Responsibilities

Develop security automation for vulnerability management pipeline, generating and remediating tickets automatically
Integrate security scanners into critical junctures of SDLC
Develop security assessments automation to detect vulnerabilities and misconfigurations at scale
Develop security automation controls in CICD, preventing vulnerabilities from being introduced to Robinhood applications

About the team:

Preferred location for this team is Menlo Park, CA, Seattle, WA, or New York, NY

Robinhood is building out a modern Product Security team, and we are seeking strong Software Engineers who are comfortable with building security toolings and automation to scale how vulnerability can be detected and remediated. The team is responsible for securing Robinhood products and applications.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

Develop security automation for vulnerability management pipeline, generating and remediating tickets automatically
Integrate security scanners into critical junctures of SDLC
Develop security assessments automation to detect vulnerabilities and misconfigurations at scale
Develop security automation controls in CICD, preventing vulnerabilities from being introduced to Robinhood applications

About you:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of experience working in Software Engineering space, with a passion to security
Proficient in Go or Python
Experience with security automation and internal tooling development
Experience with DevSecOps tooling and SDLC integrations
Experience with building defense-in-depth security mechanisms into products and applications

The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.

US Zone 1: $157000 - $185000
US Zone 2: $139000 - $163000
US Zone 3: $122000 - $144000

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
