Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5–7 years of related work experience in medical education, academic affairs, or research. Experience working in or with medical schools, health professions education, or related academic organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and synthesize literature reviews and translate findings for a variety of audiences.
  • Experience designing and conducting research using qualitative and/or quantitative methods, including data analysis and interpretation to inform evidence-based decision-making.
  • Experience managing scholarly projects, including planning, coordinating matrixed teams, and tracking timelines and deliverables.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills, with experience producing research-informed materials such as white papers, backgrounders, toolkits, courses or scholarly articles.
  • Ability to independently identify and resolve issues, communicate with key stakeholders, and adapt in an evolving environment.
  • Familiarity with medical education trends.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, PubMed or similar databases, citation managers, and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams)
Responsibilities
  • Manage diverse writing teams to produce medical education products
  • Participate in research projects as assigned
  • Work on behalf of Cluster leadership to implement a regular process for standardized and high-quality communication work products and initiatives in alignment with Cluster priorities
  • Serve as a trusted resource and content expert in medical education
  • Monitor the educational literature to identify emerging issues and innovations in medical education
  • Engage actively and contribute as needed to all required and optional organizational meetings, events, and initiatives, including those related to finance, human resources, communications, and facilities.
