Responsibilities
  • Manage the checkout team during the day by resolving problems and assisting with checkout operations.
  • Welcome, inform, and advise customers using an appropriate commercial attitude.
  • Promote customer-loyalty tools in accordance with management-defined rules.
  • Identify customer disputes and inform management.
  • Report all customer comments to the supervisor.
  • Operate a checkout when customer service requires it and process transactions according to store procedures.
  • Prepare invoices at customers’ request.
  • Complete warranty documents for equipment sold in the store.
  • Operate the store telephone switchboard and transfer calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Participate in checkout-area activities during specific store commercial operations.
  • Perform checkout operations in accordance with security rules and procedures, including opening and closing tills, exchanging money, checking payment methods, processing cancellations and returns, resolving disputes within delegated limits, issuing refunds and exchanges, counting tills, preparing bank deposits of checks and cash, and checking daily records.
