SO YOU WANT TO JOIN CANDY?

We are looking for a Senior Backend Web3 Software Engineer to help us deliver on a new blockchain platform, which will be showcasing availability of our products through a top-notch marketplace. Within this role you will be our head architect and develop smart contracts coordinating with our broader team to integrate blockchain contracts into our stack. You will document, guide, and design keeping track of issues and either self-implement or design fixes.

We are searching for creative minds that are excited to take on difficulties in the immediate while providing vision to the future. We want builders, innovators, and those that can not only think outside the box, but collaborate outside the box.

• Work with others to design and build our systems using blockchain and have strong expertise within smart contracts.
• Demonstrate great attention to detail.
• Demonstrate great knowledge of programming tools and the ability to regularly produce working, correct code.
• Have the ability to comprehend that a thriving open source ecosystem multiplies your productivity.

WHO ARE YOU?

• You have 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• You have demonstrated excellence in software engineering including exposure to distributed systems, scalability, and algorithms.
• You have a background in computer science and a knowledge of various programming paradigms.
• You have focused on delivering impactful results that consumers benefit from in a blockchain ecosystem.
• You have experience with architecture and design of blockchain solutions through deep knowledge of Solidity and the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
• Professional TypeScript experience.
• Experience writing smart contracts in a professional capacity.

Total Compensation Range (Base + Equity): $150,000-$250,000 per year

Our compensation package currently breaks down into a base salary and an equity component for all employees. The candidate’s seniority and the evaluations made of that candidate during the interview determine compensation.
