Requirements
  • BS Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Familiarity and knowledge of AC-DC & DC-DC power supplies and/or power is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IPC9252 is a plus
  • Excellent communicator of requirements, critical path, and schedules.
  • Able to write and produce guideline documents supporting power supply products
  • Work closely with vendors around the globe.
Responsibilities
  • Manages all sustaining activities for all power supplies from various vendors
  • Leads weekly strategic and cross functional meetings and reports to management updates related to power supply qualification, failure analysis and customer support
  • Works with the vendors to validate test and field failures including driving root cause analysis, containment, corrective and systemic preventive actions
  • Approves supplier Product Change Notice as the database component engineer, failure analysis and 8D reports
  • Supports selection and testing of alternate sourcing on both power supply and its components
  • Coordinates with direct fulfillment sites and contract manufacturers to review the quality and yield performance of power supplies
  • Write and maintains internal documents including Power Supply Design, Qualification and Manufacturing Guideline, revision trackers and others
  • Designs power supply and system level test plans to assess risk on field issues
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure that power supplies meet the system specification including the latest Safety and Compliance country requirements
  • Responds and supports customer facing quality engineers on issues related to power.
