AT A GLANCE
The VP of Manufacturer Solutions will drive growth in manufacturing programs by developing products and executing strategies in direct support of Pharmacy and Care’s focus on affordability, transparency, and integration into healthcare solutions. You will drive the ongoing product development, growth, and expansion of manufacturing programs, incorporating rebates, copay programs, cash buy downs, patient assistance programs, adherence programs, and high-growth brand drug categories (e.g., GLP1s). This will involve implementing clear work streams and user-friendly consumer solutions, leveraging partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers. You will be responsible for growing the client base (manufacturers, clients, and members), and supporting the necessary operations required for successful deployment of the Manufacturer Solutions strategy. This role will work across RVO Health, Optum, and external parties to build multiple programs and partnerships.
Where You’ll Be
To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our Minneapolis office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and execution of business and engagement strategies across market access channels, including vision, tactics, and strategic partnerships (e.g., rebate aggregators and manufacturers), to drive meaningful new revenue streams with pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Define the business operating plan (goals, milestones, resources, roadmaps, etc.), oversee manufacturer relationships, and ensure the delivery of a market-leading consumer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with RVOH product leaders to develop products that meet the affordability and access needs of consumers, aligning with the overall strategy.
- Build direct industry partnerships necessary for successful program launches and ongoing operations, working closely with pharma managed care counterparts and OptumRx Industry Relations.
- Lead contracting and other negotiations required for program implementation and operations.
- Develop and execute the account management strategy to achieve sales planning and revenue growth for the business line.
- Manage highly responsive day-to-day interaction with pharmaceutical manufacturers and clients.
- Oversee program setup with internal teams and external clients.
- Utilize market analytics to determine priority focus areas.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with third-party marketing partners and data providers.
- Develop the technical roadmap, introduce new products and capabilities, and streamline existing products.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in leading the development and execution of business and engagement strategies across market access channels, with a focus on driving new revenue streams with pharmaceutical manufacturers.

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, delivering a market-leading consumer experience.

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Starting Salary: $183,800 - $230,000* plus stock options and bonus
