Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience leading product and/or marketing teams, with experience in defining and driving new offerings, features, benefits and ideas to market
  • Broad knowledge of Security, Clouds, SaaS, and the enterprise infrastructure market landscape
  • Deep experience in delivering solutions to enterprise IT customers, including direct and indirect GTM motions
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, combined with diplomacy and tact, with the strength of conviction to sell concepts and ensure strategic alignment across our organization
  • Storytelling - Have the ability to break down complex concepts into simple and clear terms
  • Delivering presentations in a range of environments, from industry conferences to customer briefings as well as with internal teams and leadership
  • Previous success in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Masters in computer science or engineering desirable
Responsibilities
  • Build and optimize a world-class product marketing team with members who are experts in the customers, products, technologies, and use cases in cloud security
  • For a product family, lead product and solutions messaging and positioning, product launch management, technical marketing, pricing, GTM strategy and customer insights
  • Deeply understand the capabilities of your products, the use cases they serve, and the outcomes they enable
  • Deeply understand our customers, both as buyers and as users, and regularly interact with them to deepen that understanding and tune how we communicate with them more effectively
  • Engage industry analysts to position Lacework well in research, analyst recommendations, category, and product positioning reports
  • Act as an external spokesperson at events, user groups, industry conferences, and for media
  • Partner with sales to develop sales plays and GTM programs that drive pipeline, find new buyers, and expand into existing accounts
  • Drive ongoing analysis of the market, customers, and products, including win-loss, message testing, and product usage and adoption analysis
  • Clearly articulate Lacework's position and differentiation vs similar offerings
