The agency serves a variety of clients, including low-income individuals and families, and operates within the public health sector with an emphasis on cost control and quality assurance. Unlike private health care providers, OHCA is dedicated to fiscal responsibility and the equitable distribution of health care services, aiming to improve the overall health of the community.
