  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with a strong focus on programming, SAP and non-SAP system Integrations including cloud integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP applications and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP API Management, and related services.
  • Broad understanding of information systems, software architecture standards, and integration patterns, particularly in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented analysis and design, as well as experience in event-driven architecture and microservices-based integration solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex integration projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage an offshore team of integration developers, prioritizing the integration of SAP and non-SAP applications across Cloud, A2A, B2B, and C2B landscapes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
  • Apply advanced expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), leveraging tools such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP API Management, and other essential services like HANA DB, Cloud Connector, Fiori, GIT, Event Mesh as well as Azure Blob Storage and AWS services to enhance integration capabilities.
  • Architect and integrate diverse cloud products, including SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce, and on-premise/cloud SAP systems (S/4 HANA, ECC, Ariba, SF and Workday), ensuring seamless connectivity with external partners through open standard integration protocols.
  • Design, develop, and configure robust integration interfaces in SAP PI/PO and CPI, utilizing standard adapters (REST, OData, SFTP, File, SOAP, JMS, Mail, JDBC, RFC, IDocs/ALE, AMQP, KAFKA and GCP) and implementing SAP B2B Integration using AS2 for EDI interfaces.
  • Possess knowledge of SAP ABAP programming techniques, particularly RICEF objects, to guide the development of effective integration solutions.
  • Lead project planning initiatives, collaborating with Business and Systems Analysts to develop comprehensive work plans and manage workflows effectively to meet project timelines while ensuring architectural integrity.
  • Identify and define development tasks for project planning and estimation, facilitating accurate resource allocation and timeline management.
  • Collaborate with process teams on technical evaluations for system enhancements, overseeing gap analysis studies, and recommending innovative solutions that drive business value.
  • Architect custom solutions or integrations for complex projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
  • Manage conversion and migration designs, leading project teams in the development of solutions that adhere to architectural guidelines and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with CI/CD tools, promoting a culture of continuous integration and deployment to enhance overall efficiency.
  • PO migration to CPI experience, supporting the transition to cloud-based integration scenarios.
  • Participate in performance evaluations for code and peer reviews, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership in defining test plans and system documentation, ensuring thorough coverage of integration scenarios.
  • Review testing plans and system documentation, validating their effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.
  • Analyze existing SAP platforms for potential improvements, upgrades, or replacement opportunities that align with strategic goals.
  • Troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with functional users, ensuring minimal disruption and swift resolution of challenges.
  • Oversee data center and Infra team coordination for SAP application production, ensuring optimal performance and operational stability.
  • May provide production support for nightly batch processing, identifying recurring issues and implementing solutions to enhance reliability.
  • Develop policies and procedures for production monitoring, scheduling, restart, and recovery procedures, ensuring robust operational contintuity.

Cencora buys EyeSouth Partners' retina business for $1.1B to expand Retina Consultants of America

Cencora has signed a definitive agreement to acquire EyeSouth Partners' retina business for $1.1 billion. The affiliated retina physicians will join Cencora's Retina Consultants of America, a leading management services organisation. The pharmaceutical solutions company expects the acquisition to be slightly accretive to its adjusted diluted earnings per share in the first twelve months following closure, net of financing costs. The transaction requires regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Cencora's reaffirmed fiscal 2026 financial guidance does not currently include the transaction closing within that fiscal year. BofA Securities served as lead financial advisor to Cencora, whilst Jefferies advised EyeSouth Partners, a portfolio company of Olympus Partners.

Cencora CFO James Cleary to retire after eight years, search underway for successor

Cencora has announced that Chief Financial Officer James F. Cleary will retire effective 30 June 2026. The pharmaceutical solutions company has engaged an executive search firm to identify potential successors from internal and external candidates. Cleary, 62, has served as CFO since November 2018 and joined Cencora in February 2015 following its acquisition of MWI Veterinary Supply, where he had been chief executive officer for over a decade. He will serve in an advisory capacity through the end of 2026 to ensure a smooth transition. Cencora reaffirmed its previously issued adjusted diluted earnings per share guidance range of $17.45 to $17.75 for fiscal year 2026. The company, ranked number 10 on the Fortune 500, generates more than $300 billion in annual revenue.

Cencora beats profit estimates on specialty drug demand, completes $5B OneOncology acquisition

Cencora beat Wall Street's first-quarter profit estimates on Wednesday, driven by sustained demand for specialty medicines and GLP-1 therapies. The drug distributor reported adjusted earnings of $4.08 per share, exceeding analysts' expectations of $4.04. The company completed its $5 billion acquisition of OneOncology from TPG in December, strengthening its presence in cancer care. It raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted operating income growth forecast to 11.5% to 13.5%, up from 8% to 10% previously. However, quarterly revenue of $85.93 billion fell short of expectations of $86.03 billion, sending shares down 5% in pre-market trading. Sales at its largest unit, US healthcare solutions, rose 5% year-over-year to $76.2 billion, boosted by prescription volumes of weight-loss drugs and specialty medicines.
